As healthcare expenditures continue to rise globally due to aging populations, increasing prevalence of chronic diseases, and growing demand for medical services, AI provides opportunities to optimize resource allocation and enhance the sustainability of healthcare systems. Through predictive analytics, automation, precision medicine, and operational improvements, AI is playing a crucial role in reducing economic burdens in both developed and developing countries. One of the most significant contributions of AI to health economics is its ability to improve disease prevention and early diagnosis.
